Administrative Office
The Administrative Office of the Monmouth Beach Police Department is under the direction of the MBPD Administrative Assistant, Barbara Maguire. The Administrative Office is located inside police headquarters and open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday (closed holidays). The Administrative Office handles a multitude of matters including the following:
Accident Report Requests
Open Public Records Act Requests
Firearm ID Applications
Handgun Permits
Boat Ramp Permits
Temporary Handicapped Parking Permits
Invoice Processing
Police Report Requests
Police reports are obtained through the Administrative Office of the Monmouth Beach Police Department. The Administrative Office is under the direction of the MBPD Administrative Assistant, Barbara Maguire.
The reports generated by police officers are subject to a review process. This review procedure causes a delay in the immediate availability of reports. Additionally, the release of reports and the information contained therein are governed by law. The requested reports go through an administrative review process to determine if the reports can be released and to identify the necessity for any redactions. Generally, a requestor shall expect a five (5) workday time period for the release of a requested report or the denial of a request.
All requests for reports shall be directed to the Administrative Office via telephone, email, or in person at police headquarters during the unit’s hours of operation. The processes for report requests vary dependent on the type of report as well as the status of investigation and individual making the request. The Administrative Office can assist with the processing of all report requests.
