Registration Periods

The registration period for each sport shall be determined by the Director of recreation and sport coordinators and shall consist of an open registration period followed by a late registration period. During the late registration period, leagues are being formed, team numbers established, uniforms and equipment ordered, and coaches identified. A late fee of $50.00 shall be charged for any registrations received after the close of the open registration period. A late registration which does not include a late fee will not be accepted.

Wait List Registration

Late registration ends the day of the players draft when rosters are selected. Any registrant who signs up after the draft will be put on a “wait list.” Anyone placed on the “wait list” is not guaranteed a roster spot and will only be assigned to a team if roster size permits.

Registration Fees

Registration fees for all activities and sports are non-refundable.

Team Roster Size

In some sports and leagues such as basketball, there are limits on the size of rosters and players registering late cannot be added.

Playing With Age Appropriate Group
Regardless of skill level, all participants in recreation sports must play with their appropriate group level. In baseball, league or group level is based upon grade until age 10 when level is determined by age as of July 31 st . All other sports, grouping is according to grade level.

“Playing up” is prohibited and if a parent deliberately registers and plays his child in an older age or provides false date of birth information, that child will be prohibited from playing for that season.

Playing down under certain circumstances may be allowed if a request is made in writing by a parent and approved by the league director.
